Ron Dersch

Ron Dersch has a broad range of business and financial expertise, which includes over ten years in the energy sector with a Fortune 500 Petroleum Service Corporation, where he was involved with a number of turnaround situations, along with six years in numerous commercial banking positions with a Schedule-A Canadian Chartered Bank where he focused on industrial and real estate lending.

Ron has been involved in the corporate finance and investment banking industry for the past 12 years. Mr. Dersch co-founded, and was President of, one of Alberta’s premier mid-market investment banking boutiques which focused on M & A, real estate finance and corporate finance projects. After divesting of his interests to his partner, Ron helped establish Pricewaterhouse Coopers Corporate Finance & Investment Banking practice in the Prairie Region. After leaving PwC, Ron established DAI Capital Advisors which provides acquisition, divestiture and corporate finance services to mid-sized companies throughout Western Canada.

Ron is a recognized public speaker on the subject of corporate finance and valuation issues. He has conducted seminars on mergers and acquisitions, financing sources and deal structuring, including real estate acquisition and sale/leaseback structures for corporate clients, entrepreneurial groups, professional and trade organizations. Ron is a member of the Board of Agio Investments Ltd. a privately held transportation and logistics company headquartered in Edmonton.
